The HMD904 is the drill of choice for fabrication and construction.
It has a wide range of holemaking capacity, from 7/16 to 1-1/2" and a depth of cut up to 2".
The HMD904 is great for all around drilling.

It has strong 8A motor and a positive ejection arbor system to ensure slugs never stick.
Plus it even gets better, the HMD904 coupled with a variety of accessories, pretty much gives you your own machine shop.
The newest accessory, for the 904, is the Coolant Bottle Attachment (see below).
The HMD904 uses Rotabroach "12,000-Series" Cutters and comes with the lift detection safety feature, eliminating the need for safety switch adjustments.
